I'm Principal Economist at NCUB , where I lead the analytical function, and deputise for the Director across the directorate when required.

I am a passionate about innovation and partnerships that deliver long-term ambitions, founded in evidence and data. I currently work on three cross-cutting programmes of work: Industrial Innovation Priorities, Next Generation Partnerships, and the High Skill Economy Enquiry, working directly with different stakeholders across the UK, includingDSIT, UKRI and the Department for Business and Trade to translate research findings into policy recommendations for government, universities and business.

NCUB aims to inform, gather intelligence, evidence, and data on latest trends, developments and influences on the state of collaboration. The centre strategically convenes business and university leaders to identify challenges and generate ideas that may lead to solutions. NCUB also works to inspire more collaboration, through showcasing examples and making it easier to connect through our online tool -konfer.

Alongside this, I advise governments, internationational organisations (IDB, OECD, European Commission) and STI funders on science and innovation policy,

I was previously a Research Fellow in Innovation Policy and Creative Industries at SPRU, ranked 3rd in the world and 1st in the UK for top science and technology think tanks on the Global Go To Think Tank Index Report, put together by the University of Pennsylvania.
